¾ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup packed brown sugar
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
M&M’S® Milk Chocolate Candies (we used the Peanut, Pretzel, and Minis varietie – and only used the red ones!)
Heat oven to 375. In large bowl, mix sugars, butter and egg. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt (dough will be stiff). Choice to either stir in your red M&M’s Milk Chocolate Candies OR place them on top of the cookies once spooned onto sheet.
On ungreased cookie sheets, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown (centers will be soft).
Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks.
