Red Velvet Buttercream Brownie Bars with Merlot Fudge Sauce

  • 1 Box DCD Truffle Fudge Brownie Mix
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • two large eggs
  • ½ stick butter, melted
  • 2 Cups DCD Red Velvet Baking Mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup Buttercream Frosting Mix
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • DCD Merlot Fudge Sauce
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees; Spray 9×13” baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Prepare Red Velvet Pancake Mix as directed, set aside. Whisk together Buttercream
  3. Frosting Mix, cream cheese, and milk. Set aside.
  4. Prepare Truffle Fudge Brownie Mix as directed, spread evenly into prepared pan.
  5. Set aside Bake for 13-17 minutes, or until edges are set.
  6. Remove from oven; pour Red Velvet Batter over brownies. Spoon Buttercream
  7. mixture into Red Velvet Batter and swirl with a knife.
  8. Bake for an additional 20-24 minutes or until a toothpick comes out almost clean.
  9. Cool completely, cut into bars. Garnish with Merlot Fudge Sauce
