Cocoa Baked Beans


Two 16 oz. cans baked beans with pork/bacon
¼ cup molasses
¼ cup chopped yellow onions
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. prepared mustard, spicy
1 cup DCD Dark Chocolate Red Wine Cooking Sauce
1-2 Tbsp. DCD Sweet ‘N’ Spicy Cocoa Rub
3 slices bacon, chopped
Springs of thyme
Sour cream, for garnish, optional


1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
2. Mix all ingredients in a small greased casserole dish.
3. Bake for 1-1½ hours, until sauce has thickened and bacon is cooked. Serve in small bowls with a small spring of thyme and sour cream, if desired.

Makes 6-8 servings
