Dark Chocolate Bread Pudding

INGREDIENTS:

· 3 cups cinnamon raisin bread (cubed and left uncovered overnight)
· 2 eggs
· 4 Tbsp. DCD Dark Sipping Chocolate
· ¾ tsp. cinnamon, ground
· 1 cup whole milk
· 1 cup heavy cream
· ¼ cup sugar
· 3 bars (6 oz) DCD Chef Series Milk Chocolate, chopped small
· 1/4 tsp. salt
· 1½ tsp. vanilla
· 2-3 cups prepared whipped topping
· 1 bar (2 oz) DCD Chef Series Dark Chocolate, grated/shaved for garnish

DIRECTIONS:

1. Preheat oven to 350⁰ F. Butter an 8″ round cake pan and pour in bread cubes.
2. In a medium sized bowl whisk together remaining ingredients. Pour mixture over bread cubes.
3. Mix gently with clean hands, and let mixture soak for 25 minutes.
4. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until bread pudding is firm but not dry. Garnish with a dollop of whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Enjoy.

Yield: 8-10 servings
